My mum
My mum is from Guyana in South America and her family is
spread all around the world, including Britain, Canada and
the United States. My mum was born on the 15th August 1952.
She met my dad in the seventies when she came to England
to work as a nurse and she currently works in a psychiatric
nursing home. My mum has a brilliant new house in a town
called Saint Cecile in France, her house is very close to
the beach and its a lovely place to go to and relax in the
holidays. My mum absolutely loves playing golf, she has
a handicap of 22 and has won many awards. As well as playing
golf my mum loves to find bargains in her local charity
shops and play the Tiger Woods PGA tour game on her computer.
My mum is also a fantastic cook and loves to make-up tasty
recipes as she goes along! Most likely to say: "duralise?"
(which means do you realise?) and "David George!".
My brother
My brother Robert is two years younger than me and was
born on 24th October 1981. Robert works at HFC bank as a
Customer Service Rep and is a part-time DJ. Robert is very
fashionable and has a trendy beard. Robert likes going to
the gym, going out with his girlfriend Vivienne and playing
computer games. I'm currently borrowing Halo 2 from him
at the moment and its brilliant. Most likely to say: repeating
anything back to my mum in a West Indian accent, e.g. "that
is nice", anything in a Mario-Italian accent, e.g.
"it-sa me-a Mario!", anything in my Dad's accent,
e.g. "Well Penny, I might want to bake a cake!".
My dad
My Dad is from Hitchen and his birthday is the 15th March.
My dad also used to work as a psychiatric nurse but has
now retired and lives with his wife Penny. My dad is keen
on the latest innovations in technology, e.g. TV's, digital
cameras and PCs. Since the passing away of our dog Flussy,
my dad and Penny bought a new Dandy dinmont dog called Pepper.
Sadly, Pepper died very young this year due to an inherited
heart condition. Now they have a new little Dandy dinmont
puppy called Whisky. Most likely to say: "dirt-cheap",
"what a prak!!" (cross between prat and something
else?) and "rotten-dave" or "dave-n-rotten"
(cross between rob and dave), "brains of a chocolate
frog" and "goon". There are several others
but they are too obscene to mention here!
My dog
Flussy was the best dog in the world. He was lovable and
affectionate and always loved attention. He was very loyal
and always cheered me up when I was down. We once dressed
up Fluss in a batman costume (as you can see in the pictures)
and he became infamous from that moment on. Everyone at
school knew about him and loved him. Fluss was a good dog,
but sometimes a bit of a mischief. I remember one day walking
to the shops and seeing Fluss in the distance walking toward
me - he had got out of the house, taken himself out and
was now walking back home again. The funny thing was that
as he passed me, he pretended that he didn't know me and
just carried on!
