Siân Cox

This part of my website is all about my girlfriend Siân. We've been together for seven and a bit years now and are very happy living in our flat together. Siân is three years younger than me and was born on the 15th August 1982 (same day as my mum, so quite and expensive time of the year for me!). Siân is currently in her second year of her PhD at the School of Biological Sciences, Royal Holloway University. Her research concerns the molecular biology of a gut parasite called Giardia intestinalis.

The people Siân work with are a friendly bunch and recently we all went out to Belgo's in London for her colleague Mark van der Giezen's leaving do (visit his website here). Here are some pictures of the evening:
